Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Greggs Ops (the "Service") — a Discord bot and web dashboard used to manage the Greggs Roblox group and its Discord community, including staff scheduling, tickets, recruitment, and Roblox account verification. By using the Discord server, the dashboard, or linking your Roblox account through it, you agree to these Terms.

Greggs Ops is an independent, fan-run community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Greggs plc, the real-world bakery chain, in any way.

1. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age and account requirements set by Discord and by Roblox to use their respective platforms, and you must comply with both platforms' own Terms of Service in addition to these Terms. If you do not meet Discord's or Roblox's eligibility requirements, you may not use this Service.

2. Account Linking & Verification

The Service allows you to link your Discord account to your Roblox account, either by verifying ownership through a code placed on your Roblox profile, or by signing in directly with Roblox via OAuth. When you do this:

  • We store the connection between your Discord ID and your Roblox ID so your server nickname and roles can be kept in sync with your Roblox group rank.
  • You can revoke this connection at any time from your Roblox account's security settings, or by asking a member of management to unlink it on your behalf.
  • Linking your account does not grant the Service any ability to spend Robux, trade items, or take any action on your Roblox account beyond reading your basic profile information and, for authorized staff, managing your rank within the Greggs group specifically.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, channels, or data you're not permitted to see.
  • Impersonate another member or misrepresent your identity when verifying an account.
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, or unrelated content through the ticket, application, or evidence upload systems.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or retaliate against another member.
  • Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service's normal operation.

4. Staff Records & Disciplinary Actions

If you hold a staff role within the group, your conduct while performing staff duties may be recorded within the Service — including shift activity, ticket handling, and disciplinary cases where relevant (warnings, strikes, suspensions, or similar), along with any supporting evidence submitted by a moderator. If a disciplinary action is taken against you, you will generally be notified and given the opportunity to appeal it through the Service. Management reserves the right to review, revoke, or overturn any disciplinary action at its discretion.

5. Content You Submit

Anything you submit through the Service — ticket messages, application answers, uploaded files, or similar — remains your responsibility. By submitting it, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it doesn't violate Discord's or Roblox's own content policies. We reserve the right to remove any submitted content and to restrict access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and on a volunteer, best-effort basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we are not responsible for any loss arising from downtime, data loss, or inaccuracies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of Greggs Ops are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This is an informal community project, not a commercial service, and is provided without any guarantee beyond what's stated here.

8. Termination

Access to the Service — including your dashboard access, group roles, or Roblox rank within the group — may be suspended or removed at any time, with or without notice, at management's discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on Discord and Roblox to function and is bound by their respective developer policies. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of Discord or Roblox themselves — please review Discord's Terms of Service and Roblox's Terms of Use separately.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Significant changes will be announced in the Discord server where practical.
